Drawn, I'm Drawn

What started as an homage to the masterful lyricism and Contemporary importance of Anaïs Mitchell's 'Hadestown", my drawing series "Drawn, I'm Drawn" dug its initial roots with making portraits of some of the 2025-2026 Broadway cast. Since then, the series has continued to grow into drawing those that bring me that same emotional impact I had late on a December night in 2025 when the Hadestown concept album was playing in my ears; some people create art and impact so gutteral, so moving, so impactful, so joyful, so much of SOMETHING that I just have to draw them.
